		<description>Google promoting its own Android would be a strange strategy. You line up a bunch of companies to help advance your new OS. Then you put out your own product and undercut the major investment your partners are putting into promoting their new Android phones. 

Worse still, RIM keeps chugging along with big results in its latesst quarter and major breakthroughs into China. And the Apple fanbois have convinced the mainstream media to continue their work as Steve Jobs&#039; hagiographers. No big Android breakthrough in sight.

I smell the first big market defeat for the Googlers.</description>
