unlocked or not? “If your iPhone 4 is unlocked via jailbreaking, every time Apple releases a new iOS update you’re stuck in limbo. You can’t update via iTunes or you’ll lose your unlock.”But jailbreaking iphone 4 is legal in USA. Maybe, iphone 4 should provide something richer for developers to create for, like ifunia, who declared they are dedicated in creating affordable and easy multimedia software to simplify your Mac life, but not kill them with “iTunes”. Then I’ll purchase an unlocked with no hesitation.

HI Kelly,

I think Apple would do something if you bought the phone from them (full price from the Apple Store). Since you bought the iPhone 3GS from Rogers (presumably on a 3-year plan), you’re at their mercy.

If you bought it without a plan from Rogers and are still within the return period you can try and get a refund which can go into buying an iPhone 4.

It’s been leaked for awhile that June / July
2010 would be the release of this great new product!
I too am up for a change so I did my research and
am being patient waiting, so to answer your question
they won’t give you a new phone…

I just bought iPhone 4days befor they announce the 4g iPhone and now then new one is out rogers won’t do Anything for me now, I would have waited for the new one.will apple do anything for peaple who just bought a new 3g iPhone to
upgrade?
