WhatsYourTech.ca is a collection of technology blogs by Canadians. Unlike any other technology blogs in Canada, it is a grass-roots compilation of news and product opinions about Mac, PC, mobile, web technology and more for your home or work. We write it how we see it – experience and opinion guiding our points of view.

Comment Policy

We do not pre-moderate any comments and welcome all kinds of thoughts- supportive, dissenting, critical or otherwise.

We do not delete or censor comments unless they have content that:

  • abuses individuals or groups
  • promotes hate of any kind
  • uses excessively foul language
  • contain pornographic subject matter
  • is blatantly spam

We want to be informed of any comments that do not meet these guidelines, and if necessary will remove them immediately.

None of this information can personally identify specific visitors to this Blog. The information is tracked for routine administration and maintenance purposes.

WhatsYourTech.ca is the sole owner of information collected on the Blog. We do not share or sell your information with anyone without your authorization or consent in ways different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement.

WhatsYourTech.ca collects personally identifiable information when you provide it to us, such as when you register on our Blog, when you subscribe for an e-mail newsletter, and when you visit whatsYourTech.ca.

In order to place comments on WhatsYourTech.ca, to submit blog posts, or to participate in a WhatsYourTech.ca forum, you may be asked to register by name, e-mail address and password. The general information collected is not personal information. The Blog tracking system does not record personal information about individuals, nor does it link general information to any personal information. WhatsYourTech.ca uses the general information for statistical analysis, for tracking overall traffic patterns on the the blog, to gauge the public interest in WhatsYourTech.ca and the the blog, and to help us make our the blog more useful to visitors. The information we collect is used for internal review and is then safely discarded.

The blog visitors who communicate with the Blog by e-mail or through a contact form do so under two conditions:
